Andrew was born in Boston and grew up in the north shore area. He discovered the drums at the early age of 9 when he inherited his grandfathers old (1940's) ludwigs. his passion for the drums grew with the discoveries of John Bonham, Keith Moon, and eventually Steve Gadd, Billy Cobham, and the various Miles Davis drummers, expecially Tony Williams. It was a musical domino effect that he fully embraced, bringing him to Berklee College of Music.

 

At Berklee, he met and played with great musicians from all over the world and studied with some of the best teachers available. He discovered his interest for piano and composition, and after graduating and winning guitar centers 1998 "Drum Off" competition, he packed his bags and moved to New York City.

 

 Since the big move, Andrew has scored music for film, and played hundreds of gigs throughout the U.S. and Europe. He has developed a rock/jungle/jazz style with a deep pocket, and having been a long time fan, he was happy to reconnect with Gonzalo, whose music has been the ideal outlet for his drumming.
